Online UPS

‘Zero’ transfer time when switching from mains to battery and back, and minimal distortion in the output voltage it provides, makes it the most used UPS technologies n the world.
Line Interactive UPS
It interacts with the ‘Line’, i.e. the input voltage and hence the name. This is also a reliable technology, and works best with lower capacities of load, typically from 1kVA to about 10kVA.
It has a transfer time of about 4-6 mili seconds when switching from mains to battery mode when power fails.
SMF and Tubular batteries
The energy is stored in these batteries, typically in the chemical form and it is these batteries which provide power when power fails.
Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) or the Tubular batteries are some of the most commonly used battery types for the UPS.
